Brandie’s Story: From Alcohol to Authentic Living
Share
At Leaving Mayhem, we know sobriety isn’t just about quitting something, it’s about gaining everything. Brandie’s journey is proof of that.
For over a decade, alcohol was a constant in her life. She thought she was in control, but in reality, it dictated everything.
Her choices, her relationships, her health, and her happiness. When she finally stepped away from drinking, she realized sobriety wasn’t just about removing alcohol. It was about learning how to truly live, not just exist.
Without alcohol clouding her mind, she gained clarity. Without it wrecking her body, she built strength. And without it holding her back, she discovered real purpose.
Brandie didn’t have a dramatic rock bottom. Her life wasn’t in ruins.
But once she removed alcohol, she saw how deeply it had shaped her world. Social events, stress relief, unwinding after a long day were all tied to drinking.
Letting go of alcohol forced her to rethink everything. That’s when she started creating a new foundation for herself.
She found strength in fitness, nutrition, and mindset work. These became her tools for growth, helping her rebuild confidence and find fulfillment in ways she never had before.
“The gym gave me structure, goals, and a natural dopamine rush,” she says. “It built my confidence and self-worth from the inside out.”
This shift didn’t just change her life. It inspired her to help others do the same.
Now, as a coach, Brandie empowers people to break free from addiction and create a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.
Her mission? To make living alcohol-free as commonly accepted as being gluten-free.
“Choosing sobriety is a massive flex,” she says. “It transforms your skin, digestion, hormones, nervous system, mental clarity, energy—your everything.”
But she knows firsthand that the early days of sobriety can be tough. What got her through?
Taking it one day at a time, leaning into discomfort instead of avoiding it, surrounding herself with the right people, and building new habits that supported her growth.
She stayed away from triggers, celebrated small wins, and stayed connected to her why.
Most importantly, sobriety taught Brandie that she matters. Alcohol had stolen her sleep, slowed her metabolism, and spiked her anxiety. The day she quit drinking was the day she finally learned how to relax.
Now, she wakes up rested, her body is stronger, and her mind is clearer than ever.
And to anyone struggling, she wants you to know: It’s hard at first, but it’s worth it.
